WinLine is business software for mid sized companies, developed by mesonic. It covers purchasing, sales, stock, production, accounting and payroll in one system, so data is entered once and is available everywhere afterwards.
Built from modules
You pay for and use only the areas you actually need. A trade business often starts with order processing and accounting, a retailer with inventory management and the till, a manufacturer adds production. As the business grows or the way it works changes, modules are added without having to change system.
WinLine runs on your own server, in our data centre, or across both. It can be reached from outside the office as well.
What the software covers
- Inventory management: stock, orders, deliveries, stocktaking and reordering in one continuous flow, with serial numbers and batches.
- Financial accounting: general ledger, receivables, payables and assets, with several currencies, dunning and tax returns.
- Cost accounting: evaluate cost centres and budgets and see which area, project or order brings in what.
- Production: plan parts lists, material requirements, production orders and capacity.
- Payroll: pay runs with social insurance, tax and the reports that go with them, in house rather than outside.
- CRM: contacts, quotations and sales activity in one place, linked to the documents from inventory management.
- Reporting: reports and figures drawn from the data already in the system, with no export to a spreadsheet.
- Several companies and languages: for businesses with more than one company, site or foreign subsidiary.
E-invoicing: mandatory since 2025
Since January 2025 every company in Germany must be able to receive and process electronic invoices. A PDF attached to an email does not count. What is required is a structured format such as XRechnung or ZUGFeRD. WinLine brings the necessary formats with it. How that is set up in your business and what happens to incoming invoices is something we work out together.
Connected to what else you use
WinLine works with Outlook, hands accounting data over to DATEV and can be linked to a document management system so that documents are archived automatically. For the connection to DocuWare we set the link up ourselves.
What we take on
We set WinLine up and fit the processes to the way you work rather than your way of working to the software. That includes bringing your existing data across, designing your documents, training your staff and support in daily business. Where the standard functions do not stretch far enough for a process, we write the missing part ourselves.
