Your IT. Your decision.

Whoever controls the software also sets your timetable.

As a business you depend on IT that works, day in and day out. But who actually controls your digital infrastructure? Many companies hang on a single manufacturer and are at the mercy of its licensing models, its price rises and its strategic decisions. We build on open software so that you get control of your IT back.

What you gain from it
Traceable instead of a black box

The source code is open. No hidden back doors, no unanswered question about what is actually running on your systems.

Costs you can plan with

No price rises out of nowhere and no forced move to a more expensive edition because the manufacturer has changed its model.

No vendor lock in

You decide who you work with and how long you keep a system in use. Changing service provider stays possible too.

Your data stays yours

You decide where it sits: on your own servers, with a hosting partner of your choosing, or with us. No obligation to move into a corporation’s cloud, no automatic sharing with third parties.

Available for the long run

Open software does not vanish from the market because a manufacturer changes its business model or gets bought.

Adaptable

Software that fits your way of working rather than the other way round. If a function is missing, it can be added.

Where we put this to work

We run open systems for email infrastructure, backup, document storage, virtualisation and network management. For working together in a team that means Nextcloud and ownCloud, for virtualisation Proxmox, for monitoring Checkmk and Icinga. All of it is proven and looked after by us rather than merely recommended.

That does not mean we are against Microsoft, VMware and the rest on principle. Where a closed product is the better choice, we say so. The point is that the decision rests with you and not with the manufacturer.

What we take on

On request we run your systems entirely: in our ISO 27001 certified data centre in Germany, with maintenance, monitoring and backup. Backups are part of that, and done so that the data can genuinely be brought back when it matters. You keep control, we look after the rest.

Would you like to know where you are dependent today and what can be loosened? We will look at it with you.
